Live-Edge Living Room Set
In this collection, the ever popular river-table is at the center. It holds the room together and sets the theme, Light and Natural. The floating credenza follows suit and the live-edge end tables complete the set.
Walnut & Maple River Table
In this version of Greg Klassen’s infamous river table, walnut was selected for the top, maple was chosen for the frame, and blue glass was used for the “river”. The aprons and legs have been routed at the top to give a floating look. And the legs are connected with a single center stretcher at the base of the table. This gives the piece a sturdy and grounded feeling while maintaining its simple modern look.
Floating Walnut & Maple Credenza
Designed with purpose in mind, this credenza was made to fit in its space and float. The maple veneered plywood, holding the piece together has been uniquely joined by solid walnut on its edges. The doors have been book-matched and aligned for a continuous grain pattern. And blue glass runs through the doors to allow the remotes to work properly. It is small, but functional and elegant.
Live-Edge End Table / 1 of 2
Simply designed, this end table fills the space in the room and completed the set. The legs were made thick and rounded to make it sturdy and inviting to touch. Finished with a glossy wipe-on polyurethane, the table is sure to last.
Live-Edge End Table / 2 of 2
The second of the pair. The beauty of live edge furniture is that every piece has unique features. The worm paths on the bark are a little more prominent on this piece. It reminds me that the wood in this table used to be alive, with living creatures inside it.
